Instead of an "information superhighway", let's think about the elegance of information.

Like Ed Tufte wrote in Data is Beautiful?, data represented correctly is a great skill. It's just like writers who use words perfectly. Of course, it all depends on what you want to convey. Otherwise you're presenting the wrong data, beautifully.

So just like code can be elegant, make the data elegant, too. Nothing superfluous.
