The information, herein, is for such a New World Order. Consider it "applied Buddhism". The novus ordo seclorum is about a (perfect) law dependent purely on reason. It is a system of order, rather than beliefs. As such, it transcends science and religion. We create the Jedi not out of a social contract, however, but because it is our freedom to do it. To create an Order to maintain the virtues and ideals of civilization? The New Constitution calls it a "Senate Order", but as long as it transcends science, religion, and the law itself, perhaps we can call it the Jedi, as in J.D. -- the Jurii Doctorum, the doctors of the Law. Think about that.
A little background.... Since disorder is the norm in the universe, this energy (chi or "the Force") had to originate from a primordial source of chaos. Untold eons ago, the forces of Good sorted the Turbulence into light and darkness so that we can have the world that we now know. That force most of you should call GOD. The Jedi may know other things about it though....
As it originates from a transcendental system of order, the Force is capitalized. People who are in harmony with this Force use this energy to create more kinds of order to counteract the general forces of chaos or turbulence -- like Law, for example, or engineering the forward movement of an automobile, or love.
The Force flows (sic.) through (or is the turbidity of) every living thing, and every material and immaterial thing expresses this force. Interestingly, diamonds are one of the few exceptions where the Force is completely inert, hence its employment in the light saber, but it will take some time to order our universe to all such powers. Most life, expresses or keeps this force. Most of the time, the Force constrains us, as it holds the order of even the atom. But when the Jedi are one with it, it allows itself to build within and express itself.
To prevent the possibility of cultish miasms in the Order, the Jedi cultivate a fierce independence that, apart from the master-apprentice relationship, forces each member to forge their relationship to the transcendental over the personal. This is further heightened by the emphasis on the Force over the family, forcing them to find their unique place within the Universe, exploiting this natural instinct of the human heart to socialize to apply it towards the Abstract.
Every living things has to learn how to keep this chi/power or collect it, otherwise they have no life force. But ultimately, all life has to learn to hold their chi, otherwise they would die amidst the winds of chaos (Asiatic members) or perfect their knowledge, otherwise they get cut down in the midst of everyone's [semi-false] authority. These manifest as midichlorians) (or ATP chains) in biology.
As mentioned, this Force is also expressed through physics and the movements of the world. And so, as the Jedi say, the force is all around you and flows with everything. It is in the baby suckling it`s mother, in the gazelle leaping across the savannah, in the stars moving across the sky at night. XXXThis is out of date and associated with a different soul.
If you tune into the Force, you can learn it`s ways and move with it, so that your life is in harmony and your personal power grows. As it grows, the Jedi can train you towards greater utility to the Universe. The Jedi have averted the heat-death of the Universe, though few would know it.
In the New Age, the Jedi warrior can hold either the Dark or the Light side -- both continue the need for order. When it's the Dark Side, they are serving the need for Justice. Hence, the Justice League.
Living a life of straight-edge helps this. The discipline will help keep you from over-consuming and wasting your energy. The path of the Enlightened Warrior is the place to start.
