##Escaping in a pinch While the spacious Escape Shuttle is the crew's main method of leaving the station, the Escape Pods are available for those who are unable or unwilling to run the gauntlet to the Escape Wing. Space Station 13 is equipped with four "two man" Escape Pods:
- Two in Arrivals, just North of the Shuttle
- One in the Brig, East of the Security Office
- One in Engineering, to the East of the Engine Room
These pods will always launch at the same moment as the Escape Shuttle, and will arrive at a relief shuttle as the main vessel reaches Central Command. Anyone on board when the journey is over is considered to have escaped the station, just as if they had been on the Escape Shuttle.
While the pods are designed for two people, a theoretically infinite amount of people can fit if those already on board can be convinced to lie down. However, anyone not buckled in to a chair runs the risk of being sucked out into space if the door is opened while in transit.
Traitors with the "hijack" objective must capture the main Escape Shuttle, and not a Pod. The "escape alive" objective allows escape on either the Shuttle or a Pod.
