LCAS High Performance Computing Cluster (LCH) - LCAS/Cluster_wiki GitHub Wiki

The group has a small HPC cluster that is administered by Riccardo (with considerable help from Harit).

The cluster is currently located in INB3304

It currently comprises four rack boxes (LCH01, LCH02, LCH03 and LCH04) each with the following specification:

• 1x 6 core Intel Core i7-6850K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 64Gb RAM
• 2x Nvidia GTX 1080ti GPU -- each with 12Gb memory and around 10 Tflop single precision

The cluster is setup for TensorFlow and SLURM (see below).

SLURM Cluster Configuration

LCH01 is the control (aka head) node for a SLURM workload management system.

Currently all four machines (including LCH01) are configured as compute nodes of this cluster.
