1. FIRST THAI BEACH CLEANING ROBOT DEVELOPED BY PTTEP AND PSU

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) found an answer to this issue, in the form of the "PTTEP Love Sea Love Beach" project. Launched in 2016, the project brings the company’s expertise in engineering technology and environmental management in line with international standards, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. The project partners developed a beach cleaning robot that is able to scavenge the beach efficiently and effectively. This is the first robot of its kind developed in Thailand. The robot is currently being tested in the Songkhla area, where it is used to help preserve the scenery, ecology and environment. Highlights and advantages : • The robot works in a variety of beach environments, both wet and dry. 2.RF Controlled Beach Cleaner Robotic Vehicle:

Here we propose an innovative “RF Controlled Beach Cleaner Robot”. Cleanliness is vital and intuitivewhen it comes to public places because huge number of people use beaches and parks for recreational purpose every day. which further increases the risk of spreading of diseases due to dirty environment and rotten garbage. RF Controlled Garbage Cleaners can be a big relief for this task of cleaning garbage from the places like beach. Here this system shown in video is a 4-wheel drive vehicle chassis equipped with a cleaning mechanism and a dirt bag for Garbage collection. Two high performance, high efficiency electrical motor drives the vehicle chassis and one electrical motor drives the cleaning . The lifter mechanism consists of a chain sprocket arrangement to drive the garbage lifter. Collectively these three electrical motors can we wirelessly driven by a Radio Frequency based Remote control. Cleaning mechanism of this beach cleaner robot is also equipped with a wire mesh, which separates the beach sand from the garbage.[2]

Some of the important components of Robots are as follows:

Servo Motors:

The device which varies the voltage/current of the motor is called as the controller of the motor.This can be achieved using servo motors. There are other popular motors types that are used in robots, stepper motors is one example.However due to torque and speed considerations servo motors are preferred.

DC Motor:

The Brush DC Motor consists of six different components: the axle, armature/rotor, commutator, stator, magnets, and brushes . Arduino:

The Arduino Uno board is a microcontroller based on the ATmega328.It has 14 digital input/output pins in which 6 can be used as PWM outputs,a 16MHz ceramic resonator, an ICSP header ,a USB connection , 6 anolog inputs, a power jack and a reset button. The contains all the required support needed for microcontroller.

Jumper wires:

The “jumper wire” simply refers to a conducting wire that establishes an electrical connection between two points in a circuit.

Caterpillar wheels :

It is a continuous band of track plates is driven by two or more wheels. Continuous track vehicle steer by applying more or less drive torque to one side of the vehicle then other and this can be implemented in verity of ways.
