1.1 Identify client's objectives
Step 1: Prepare the list of design objectives
1.Robot should be controlled by wireless ways.
2.Robot should efficiently collect all the waste.
3.Robot should be portable.
4.The robot should have wide tyres to drive through sand.
Problem definition 1.1
Design a robot which can collect the wastes like plastic, organic and wet materials on the surface of sand, which should be safe enough to use and portable.It should be controlled by an individual and the robot will be controlled by wireless means like Bluetooth .The device should destroy the litter collected.
1.2 Identify constraints

As it is a small robot it can destroy only the materials like plastic bags, cigarettes , plastics cups , papers , small shells. etc.
