Current Clamp - KravitzLab/KreedLabWiki GitHub Wiki

Current clamp experiments are done by injecting current into a patched cell and recording the resulting voltage changes. Using CC, we can measure intrinsic excitability and some passive membrane features of neurons.

In this example, ventral pallidal glutamatergic neurons were patched and recorded in current clamp. Different amounts of current were applied and the resulting action potentials illustrated.
