We are designing a system to which teachers, parents and students have access. Once a teacher leaves the school their account can be suspended, but what about parents and students? We could set the system so that once a student has left they immediate loose their access along with their parents if the parents have no other children at the school, but there may be legitimate reasons why they should still be given access after this, at least for a period of time.

Therefore we arrive at the idea of scheduled account suspension, under which a system administrator can set a standard amount of time students and parents (where applicable) should be given access to the system after the student leaves.
