A goal of nextSIS is to capture the complete entity life history of the student, which broadly follows the following path:

• [Waiting List] (Waiting-List)
• [Student] (Student-Module)
• [Alumni] (Alumni)

Initially the prospective student is an applicant and the admissions module handles applications and the student's record on the waiting list if their application is successful. This is primarily designed to be a paperless system where the person applying on behalf of the child does so using a secure form on the SIS website.
