• Legal copy of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (Steam version only)
• No mods in your Modules folder
• No game file changes (no launcher, BLSE EXE, ReShade, etc.)
• No Steam Workshop mods — unsubscribe from all
• 65 GB of free SSD space
• Game language set to English

💡 Tip: If you have a fresh Bannerlord install (recommended), launch it once and enter the main menu.

You’ll need around 65 GB of free space.

1. Create an empty folder, e.g., D:/moddedgames/Wabbajack
2. Download Wabbajack
3. Place Wabbajack.exe in the folder and run it
4. Go to Settings and log into your Nexus account

1. Create another folder, e.g., D:/moddedgames/Knightfall
2. Download and unzip the Knightfall.wabbajack file
3. Open Wabbajack → Browse Lists → Install from Disk
4. Point to the .wabbajack file → Set installation and download locations
5. Click Install

Estimated download time: ~3.5 hours at 3MB/s
After install, close Wabbajack.

If Wabbajack fails:

• Close Knightfall.wabbajack and restart it
• It will resume automatically — no progress lost
• If files were deleted, you’ll need to wait for an update

1. Navigate to Knightfall\Knightfall.exe and launch it
2. In Mod Organizer 2, press RUN

(outdated, but may still help)

Knightfall includes optional ReShade support. Three visual styles are available — each tuned for medieval lighting and tone:

A simple Preset, adds depth to the shadows + Colourfulness & fake HDR.

Includes color grading, better bloom for softer image, and cinematic blacks while retaining the visible night time. For a better experience make sure you enable the Vignette effect from BLSE launcher.

A colder preset enhanced ambient occlusion, bloom, color correction.

• ReShade is bundled with the modlist.
• Activate the one you like in Mod Organizer

• Wabbajack deletes all non-list files when updating
• Extra mods = deleted
• Downloads are preserved
• Use the same install path and tick overwrite existing modlist
• You may need to start a new game afterward

• Delete Knightfall folder
• Delete Wabbajack folder
• Delete Wabbajack from %appdata%
• Let Steam verify your game files
