The following list is an overview of useful applications for interacting with Final Fantasy XV.
A lot of them are freeware, but some require the purchase of a license or a subscription:

An all-in-one tool suite for FFXV. Includes incredibly specialised tools for importing/exporting assets, creating/managing mods, and much more.
Flagrum Blender Add-on: https://github.com/Kizari/Flagrum-Blender/releases/latest
A complement to Flagrum that enables certain file types to be imported/exported to/from Blender.
FFXV Ansel Block Remover: http://www.skacikpl.pl/projects#FFXVABR
Allows NVIDIA Ansel to be activated in places it normally can't be.
Narod's FFXV Screenshot Grabber: https://github.com/NarodGaming/ffxv-screenshot-grabber
Used for pulling snapshots out of your save files so they can be used elsewhere.

Used to unpack, repack, and edit the game's audio files.

Can be used to convert PS4 audio files that AudioMog cannot handle.

Used to play the audio files from the game. Requires the plugin below.

Enables Foobar2000 to play the SAB format the game uses.

Paid software. Hex editor with powerful templating capabilities. Required to use the FFXV binary templates.

Free alternative to 010 Editor, but cannot run binary templates.
Cheat Engine: https://cheatengine.org
Free software. Powerful tool for observing and modifying values in-memory. Very useful research tool.

Fantastic free powerful text editor for things such as XML editing, regex replacements, file comparisons, etc.

Succeeded by Flagrum. Converts EXML (XMB2) files to XML by dropping them on the EXE. Useful for files that are not packed into the release game.

Succeeded by Flagrum. Converts XML files to EXML (XMB2) by dropping them on the EXE. Useful for files that are not being built into a Flagrum mod.

Succeeded by Flagrum, but may still have niche uses for certain methods of EARC repacking that Flagrum does not yet support.
