Getting Started with Blender's Interface

When you open Blender for the first time, you'll encounter the 3D Viewport, Outliner, and Properties Editor.

Main Interface Areas

Area Description
3D Viewport Primary workspace to view and manipulate 3D objects.
Outliner Hierarchical list displaying all scene objects.
Properties Editor Panels managing materials, modifiers, and renders.
Timeline Controls animation playback and keyframes.

Switching Layouts

Click the tabs on the top bar (Layout, Modeling, Sculpting, UV Editing, etc.) to switch your workspace.
