SikhiToTheMax Desktop - Release Checklist

Core Functionality

• Connect secondary display and ensure presenter view displays correctly
• Toggle Presenter View to "off", ensure windows display correctly
• Open a random shabad, cycle through a few lines in both presenter view and single-display mode, ensure functionality

Search

• Guru Granth Sahib: Search: “qnjqnh”, veirfy “Teerath Naavan Jao..” appears
• Dasam Granth Sahib: Search: “sksls”, verify that “Sach Kahoun Sun …” appears
• Bhai Gurdaas Ji Check: Search: “nsls”, verify that “Nakh Sis Lo...” appears
• Short Letter Search: Search “jh”, verify that shorter results such as “jale hain” appear first in the results
• Verify all above examples work with all search methods (Start, Anywhere, etc)
• Verify * wildcard works

Display Options

• Open quick tools, ensure font size adjustments work for each option
• Open quick tools, ensure visibility toggle works for each option
• Open Settings, verify on/off toggle works for each "field to display"
• Open Settings, font size sliders work for each option
• Open Settings, verify Akhand Paath View and Auto-Play function correctly
• Open Settings, Larivaar displays correctly
• Open Settings, verify left-align functionality
• Open Settings, verify Live Feed Text files allows location to be chosen
• Open Display Options tab in bottom right quadrant, verify all options work as expected

Shortcut Tray

• Verify all options work
• Verify minimize/open work

Keyboard Check

• Make sure keyboard loads when clicking on the icon
• Verify Ang search works. Open Ang 917 and verify Anand Sahib appears

Themes

• Open theme picker and ensure each theme loads correctly
• Upload Custom Theme, ensure functionality

Additional options

• Ensure Random Shabad works
• Verify Daily Hukamnama is accurate
• Ensure Anand Karaj button works

History

• Search for a few shabads at random
• Ensure the history menu shows results correctly
• Verify you can click and open one of the results

Bani Overlay

• Verify Bani Overlay menu opens
• Resize and Recolor Text
• Change layout
• Copy URL into OBS and verify

Chromecast

• Search for Chromecast and verify stable connection
• Open a few shabads at random and ensure connection does not interrupt
• Change theme/font size/display options and verify chromecast adjusts accordingly
