Glossary

For new players, there are numerous terms and short-hands that might be confusing. Below is a list of the most common ones you'll see.

• SS13: "Space Station 13"
• GS13: "General Station 13" / “GATO Station 13” / “Gain Station 13” (this one is more OOC in meaning.)
• IC: "In Character"
  • “ICly” means to do something in-character.
• OOC: "Out of Character"
• LOOC: "Local Out of Character"
• MRP: Medium Roleplay
• HRP: High Roleplay
• LRP: Low Roleplay
• SSD: Sudden Sleep Disorder
• Syndie: Syndicate
• Antag: Antagonist
• Tot: Traitor (Antagonist type)
  • Sometimes jokingly “Tater” or “Tater tot”
• Valid: Used to label an antagonist or otherwise someone who is confirmed to be a bad actor. Derived from “Valid to kill”
• Seccie: Security Guard
• Cryo: "Cryogenic Sleep"
  • Often used to describe logging off. “Gonna go cryo.”
• Adminbus/Abus: General admin command usage for non-essential purposes, Derived from “Admin abuse”
• CC / Centcom: Central Command
  • Also used when logging off. “I’m gonna CC in a bit.”
• Internals: Breathing via a mask and an oxygen tank
• Sensors: A health tracking system available in most station jumpsuits (ALT/right click click the suit to open menu)
• SM: “Supermatter Engine”
• Singulo: “Singularity Engine”
• Tesla: “Tesla Engine”
• ORM: Ore Redemption Machine
