I am a web / mobile application developer since 2010. I always found receiving designs from designer being clucky. Designers are filled with requests such as extrating assets for specific screen size, telling the font being used, annotating margins / paddings / colors etc. Designers are really not interested in these requests but only they could open those design files with specific software such as Photoshop / SketchApp. Most developers would not have those softwares yet they do need open the design file somehow to access those information if they do not want to bother the designer.

Here comes the idea. Why not a super easy online tool to to fill the gap? A completely free tool that even does not require registration.

The core of PSDETCH is to help app development to allow developers using design files conveniently and quickly. Thus PSDETCH does not and will not provide any functionality to edit the design file. Instead, PSDETCH focuses on features such as extracting assets, layer measurements, changing scale, exporting CSS, optimizing assets, comparing to design and so on. Each feature should be useful to a specific development task.
