5. Make sure this check is on.

Check

In this menu you can navigate and see all storage buildings. Let's go check the settings for Hampers.

6. Click on the desired building

Hampers

Here we can see a bunch of options.

  • Label - This one changes the in game name of the building.
  • Maximum number of stacks per cell - The amount of stacks per cell of this building. Note that increasing the max number may also increase the amount of time it takes to store the extra stacks.
  • Maximum total mass - The maximum amount of mass all the stacks together in a cell can reach.
  • Maximum mass of any stored item - The maximum amount of mass of a single item.
  • Show content for this type of building - If items stored here will be visible or hidden.
  • What kind of count overlay to use - These only change the information shown.
  • Default storage priority for this building - This setting will only change newly built buildings.
  • Change what Items are allowed in this building? - This option will allow you to change the Fixed filter that restricts the kind of items allowed in any building.

You can safely change all the options shown here, but be careful with extreme numbers, as these could break the game.

Settings

If you check the last option, a filter menu will appear, just like you would filter a normal stockpile. The quality and hitpoints options do nothing, but everything else can be checked or unchecked and it will allow or disallow this building to store that stuff.

Filter

Everything you change is saved as soon as you click "Accept" on the bottom part. You can also always reset to default if you wish.
