Will add Shrinivasan as Director on the first tax filing at April 2024.

Jay and Natkeeran can be the authorities to sign the cheque books.

The below are the next action items discussed and decided.

  1. Create bylaws

  2. Apply for google workspace

  3. Create Bank account

Will explore for low cost bank accounts for Non Profit Organizations. Monthly rent should be low as 1-4$.

Will explore TD, Meredian, BMO.

  1. Wave accounting gives free accounting software for Non Profits. Will use that.

  2. Registered Kaniyam.ca domain

  3. Build site

  4. Credit card for kaniyam - check for it with bank

  5. Add more people. Minimum 2 people for each activities as owners

  6. Publish accounts every quarter

  7. Tax file every year

  • Digitization scale of open access items
  • connect with local organization collect yearly magazines and other publications
  • meet local archive.org team
  • digitize books received from Prof.Pasupathy books
  • monthly online tech talks
  • training , workshops on creating blogs ,Sites, markdown, ebook publishing
  • talks on ocr, tts, voice mozilla etc.
  • scratch workshop for kids
  • home automation - venkat can teach
  • python for kids - varun can help
  • Plan for a research lab
  • talk on LLM / ML introduction
  • Collect and publish large volume of Tamil text for ML research works.
  • Contact authors to give their social media, website contents in cc license.
  • scrap srilankan tamil websites, and explore common crawl.
  • set workflow for OCR, cleanup, proof read
  • Explore the license to get data for machine learning, if not CC license is accepted by authors.
