Summary

In week four I have accomplished a lot. From research on how to make account resources viewable and manageable for the AWS Admin accounts to reaching out about email aliases, progress is being made. This week, I have gone through and made a map of the OU structure, researched SCP's and came up with ideas for each OU, and researched IAM All Access accounts.

Issues

Issues that were seen this week include, wait times for aliases and setting permissions. The permissions need to be well thought out before the inception of policies. Without well-thought-out rules and policies, I will need to go back and add them over time, which is not efficient.

Skill acquired

Further understanding of SCP policies and IAM users and roles. I am constantly gaining more confidence on a research level on how to make all of this work.

Impact on the next weeks

Next week, all of the research that has been done can be used for actual implementation. This will propel us even further when it comes to creating and managing policies.
