The '''Lamprey''' is a swept-winged aircraft with a tricycle undercarriage, powered by two Derwent V engines (impersonating a single Nene) in the fuselage. Designed by NathanKell, it is capable of breaking the sound barrier in a dive from the stratosphere but not capable of supersonic performance in level flight, either aerodynamically or thermally (the turbines melt).
