The Clydesdale is a straight-winged aircraft with a tricycle undercarriage, powered by two Jumo 213E engines slung under the wings. Designed by NathanKell as the carrier aircraft for the Spark supersonic research rocketplane. In addition, a jet variant was tested but found insufficiently improved over the original version to warrant production.
