Motor Sizing
Force= Weight * G
Torque = Force * Radius
Approximate weight of whole machine = 1500 Gram
Approximate weight on one DC motor = 375 Gram
Radius = 50 Mm
Force = 3.675 N
Torque = 0.18375 N-m = 1.8737285413468914 Kg-cm
Net torque= torque * Factor of safety(1.5)= 2.8105928120203371 kg-cm = 3 Kg-cm (Approx.)
Therefore we require a motor of 30rpm
Adapter calculation: Load current = 300 mA
Along with DC motor, other electronic components also require current. So we multiply by 1.2 300 mA * 1.2 = 360 mA
This is required current.
We require an adapter of 5A @ 12 volts.
Battery Sizing
Battery requirement: Current drawn * time =360mA * 6 =2160mAh
Battery is required @ 9-12 volts.
