Using KKRagdollRevamp - JusMahBASSCannon/KKRagdollRevamp GitHub Wiki
[!TIP] All hotkeys listed in this wiki are able to be reassigned in the F1 menu.
Getting Started
To start using KKRagdollRevamp, you must first add Collision Items to your scene. These are special items that have collision meshes baked into their items, which allow ragdolls to interact with the items (if there is another item in the scene that uses collisions - such as parts of maps or special items - ragdolls will also collide with those items).
[!TIP] Collision Items will still function if they are hidden from the workspace! Use this to your advantage by building "collision maps" that make existing maps compatible with KKRagdollRevamp.
Toggling Ragdolls
Once you have added collision items to your scene, add your favorite characters to the scene and press F10. If you have more than one characters loaded in your scene, all characters will start ragdolling. You can press F10 again to toggle the ragdolls off and the characters will snap back to their starting positions.
Alternatively, if you'd rather choose 1 or more specific characters in your scene to ragdoll, select the characters you wish to ragdoll in your scene and press F8. Only the characters you selected will have their ragdoll toggled on or off.
Click and Drag
Once a character is in its ragdoll state, you can hold left click on a body part and move the mouse to drag the ragdoll around by that body part. The speed in which the ragdoll reacts to your mouse movements or how closely the ragdoll follows the mouse are defined in the F1 menu. While clicking and dragging, you can use the scroll wheel* to move the ragdoll closer or farther away from the camera.
Explosions
When a character is in their ragdoll state, press F6 to trigger an explosive force at your mouse position. How big the explosion is, the force of the explosion, and more settings can be fine-tuned in the F1 menu.
Timeline Support
KKRagdollRevamp will check for and natively add itself into Timeline as a keyframe-able value per-character. Start by adding a keyframe at the beginning of your animation with the ragdoll toggled off. Then, scrub ahead to the point where you want the ragdoll to activate, toggle on the ragdoll using F10 or F8, then add a keyframe to Timeline. This will add a "True" value to the selected time, which will enable the ragdoll as the playhead passes by the keyframe.
