Setup and usage

System Requirements:

OS: Windows XP, 2000, 2003, Vista, 7 and 8

How to Setup

• First of all, you will need GPSS World. You can download it from here

  1. Click on GPSS World Student Version,you will download 'GPSS World Student Setup.msi' file.

  2. Open downloaded file, you will see Setup Wizard.

  3. Click 'Next', after it you will see the header 'Select Installation Folder'

     1. you can change folder by clicking on button 'Browse...' or leave selected by default folder

     2. then you can select who will have permition to use GPSS World that you are installing: just you or everyone. Select 'Just me' if you want to install this program only for your user account. Select 'Everyone' to install GPSS World for other users of this computer too.

     After all selections click 'Next' button.

  4. You will see 'Confirm Installation'. Click 'Next' to start the installation.

  5. Then if the window with message 'Do you want to allow the folowing program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?' appears, click 'Yes' button.

  6. Wait until the setup ends. Now you have GPSS World program on your computer.

• Now you can download NetworkAnomalyCatcher

  1. Download NetworkAnomalyCatcher from here

  2. Clicking on the link above you will download 'NetworkAnomalyCatcher.rar' archive

  3. Unpack the 'NetworkAnomalyCatcher.rar' archive. For example, you can do it with WinRAR program. Now you are ready to work with NetworkAnomalyCatcher.

How to use

1. Open the folder where you installed GPSS World program.
2. Run gpssw.exe file
3. Click on button 'Menu' and click on 'Open file'
4. Select in window file from the unpacked folder of NetworkAnomalyCatcher. Each file contains one method of anomaly detection. Files are named by the name of the method, for exapmle, 'OneClassSVM.gpss'. Select a method that you want to analyze and click on its file.
5. Click 'Start' button, after program finishes to work you will see the report about analyzed method.
