Description:

You cause a temple to shimmer into existence on ground you can see within range. The temple must fit within an unoccupied cube of space, up to 120 feet on each side. The temple remains until the spell ends, and it is dedicated to whatever god, pantheon, or philosophy you select when you cast the spell.

You make all decisions about the temple’s appearance. The interior is a richly appointed space with an open floor plan and accommodates your allies as you choose. The temple’s atmosphere is one of calm, and it always feels clean and smells pleasant.

Inside the temple, the following effects apply:

  • All within the temple have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to interact with anyone inside.
  • If a fiend or undead creature tries to enter the temple, they must first succeed on a Charisma saving throw or be unable to enter. Even if they succeed, they have disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws while inside.
  • Celestials, elementals, fey, and fiends can’t enter the temple, nor can creatures be summoned or teleported into it.
  • The temple’s ground is unhallowed, as per the Hallow spell.

Duration:

  • The spell lasts for 24 hours, but you can extend this duration by casting this spell in the same location every day for a year, making the temple permanent.

Notes:

  • Sacred Space: Offers significant protection against fiends, undead, and other planar creatures.
  • Wisdom & Charisma Boosts: Provides a significant social interaction boost within the temple.
  • Hallow Effect: Adds an extra layer of protection and sanctity.
  • Permanent Temple: Can become a permanent structure with repeated casting.
