Some deities do more than inspire worship—they ignite a firestorm of divine rage within their most fervent followers. These fierce warriors are known as Zealots, barbarians who harness their rage into an unstoppable force, empowered by the raw might of the gods themselves.
Driven by a divine fervor, these warriors become living vessels of their deities’ wrath, their battle cries echoing with the power of the gods themselves.
⚡ Divine Fury ⚡
At 3rd level, when you embrace the Path of the Zealot, you become a conduit for your deity’s wrath. While you’re in the midst of your rage, your weapon strikes crackle with divine power, delivering an extra jolt of damage to your foes.
-
Feature: While raging, the first creature you hit on each of your turns with a weapon attack takes an additional 1d6 + half your Barbarian level in damage.
-
Damage Type: You choose whether this bonus damage is radiant, searing your enemies with holy light, or necrotic, draining their life force with shadowy energy. You choose the type of damage when you gain this feature.
✨ Warrior of the Gods ✨
By 3rd level, your soul is branded with the mark of endless warfare. Your connection to the divine is so strong that not even death can easily sever it. If a spell like Raise Dead is cast to bring you back to life, the caster can forgo the usual material components, saving you from death without costly rituals.
🛡️ Fanatical Focus 🛡️
At 6th level, the divine power that fuels your rage can also shield you from harm. When the odds are stacked against you and you falter, the divine might within you allows you to try again.
- Feature: If you fail a saving throw while raging, you can reroll it. You must use the new roll, and you can only use this feature once per rage.
🔥 Zealous Presence 🔥
At 10th level, your presence on the battlefield becomes a rallying cry to your allies. With a powerful shout, you can infuse others with the same divine fervor that drives you, turning the tide of battle.
-
Feature: As a bonus action, you can unleash a battle cry infused with divine energy. Up to ten creatures of your choice within 60 feet of you who can hear you gain advantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the start of your next turn.
-
Limit: Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
⚔️ Rage Beyond Death ⚔️
At 14th level, you become a true avatar of divine fury. Even mortal wounds cannot stop you while you are consumed by rage. Your body continues to fight on, driven by the divine energy coursing through your veins.
- Feature: While raging, being reduced to 0 hit points does not cause you to fall unconscious. You must still make death saving throws, and you suffer the usual effects of taking damage while at 0 hit points. However, if you would die due to failing death saving throws, you don’t die and remain standing until your rage ends, only dying if you still have 0 hit points when your rage subsides.
