  1. POST is something that runs when your computer starts up. The POST codes are basically check marks on a list. If something is not working properly, then the POST will see that and either will not start, or display an error message. The POST codes are generally built around components. If a component that needs to be working to start the computer isn't, then it will not boot and give an error.
  2. The BIOS is where most boot options run. If there is a problem with starting up your PC, you can run BIOS to try and fix the problem. There are also other options there, such as changing your default boot disk, safe boot options, and it even shows hardware performance. You may also change your computer's base clock speed in BIOS, depending on what BIOS is used.
  3. The difference between thick and thin clients is how they run. Thin clients (like laptops) mostly require the app to have strong servers, as they generally do not store much information (such as emails, google doc stuff, saving work). Thick clients are not as dependent, being able to store and connect to emails and google docs with better efficiency.
  4. When buying a power supply, there are a lot of things to pay attention to. What cables will you need? Does it supply enough power to the motherboard or other devices? Is it compatible with your devices? Another main thing is will it fit inside of the PC case?

Notes

I have the size example on the fourth question because my sister actually had this problem. She bought a stronger power supply for her gaming computer but the power supply was to big for the case
