Reading is intrinsically linked to the academic performance of students since it is an essential skill at all school levels, essential for the best development of students and to improve their intellectual and cognitive performance in all areas of life. In the context of the 21st century and a globalized world, skills such as critical thinking are in demand, which is nurtured through analytical and academically sound reading. When users read books that they find appealing and enriching, they become more willing to reflect on and discuss the themes presented, fostering critical thinking and the formation of well-founded opinions. Additionally, readings that ignite their imagination and curiosity can inspire users to be more creative in their daily lives and personal projects.
