Tired of emulators creating tons of images in your picture gallery? Create a .nomedia file. It will hide every image in the same folder (+ subfolders).
The Retroid Pocket 2 Plus has two controller style: Xbox
and Retro
. If you enjoy the A button (Right) as your select/accept then choose Retro
. I'd recommend sticking with Xbox
for game and app compatibility.
To set input style or check other input related options: Android setting > Handheld Settings > Input
To enable virtual mouse mode simply hold the Home button for 3 seconds. To disable hold the Home button again for 3 seconds

Early firmware had a screen noise issue. If you put your ear next to the screen while brightness is set to 20%~60% you can hear a faint hum. OTA update 1.8 fixed this issue

If you're ever needing to type out your folder path on the device:
Storage | Path |
---|---|
Internal Storage | /storage/emulated/0/ |
External micro SD Card | /storage/sdcard0/ |
- External SD card can also appear as /storage/xxxx-xxxx/ (x = random string of numbers). It's best to use /storage/sdcard0/ in this case if your swapping out multiple mirco SD card.
- When switching portable storages to another micro sd card, make sure to re-add the path as the /storage/xxxx-xxxx/ has changed.
To update:Android Settings > System > Updater
- If your having issues checking for updates try changing your WiFi connection and make sure your time zone is correct.
