Amazon App Store
Retroid Pocket 2 Plus seemingly kill's background processes that are needed to connect to Amazons servers (GameCircle).
If using the Amazon App Store make sure to do the following so you won't get pesky connection failed errors:
- Whitelist the Amazon App Store: Android Settings > Handheld Settings > Advanced > Whitelist Application > Select Amazon App Store
- Leave Amazon App Store open while playing game
