You can use any application to transfer the image from your phone's camera to your computer, but this method is the most friendly to inexperienced users. The author of this article prefers the scrcpy program, but the setup of this program is more complicated, here is an example of the setup, you may like this method better.

Note

DroidCam can add Latency (your real life actions will lag behind the image you get). You will have to either use a USB connection, or reduce the resolution of the image, or use other programs to reduce Latency.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to transfer an image from your Android or iOS phone's camera to your computer:

  1. Install OBS program, here are instructions on how to do it.
  2. Close OBS program
  3. Install DroidCap OBS, here are instructions on how to do it.
  4. Click on the Start Virtual Camera button, here are instructions on how to do it.
  5. Now you need to do the camera setup in FoxyFace, here are instructions on how to do it.
