Introduction

Outposts are small mini-dungeon like areas in the mod that usually harbor a specific faction and design in mind. These mini-dungeons are great ways of getting regular mob drops or even getting unique specific loot from them. As some outposts may house a faction's new unique mob or mini-boss within them. Outposts are entirely optional and exist to just flesh out further exploration and help with the rarity of certain mob drops.

Outposts can be located with /locateDA Outpost. This will not search for a specific faction's outpost and will just take you to one of them. Currently in 1.7.2, there is only End Outposts which utilize the same command.

End Outposts

These outposts come in varying sizes and are found rarely throughout the end. More likely than not they will contain one to many Enderphrites within them depending on the size of it. On top of that unique trinkets such as Long Legs allowing for a speed boost. Then Blink Bolt, which allows the player to teleport a short distance where they are looking.
