Obsidilith's Arena - Jboymercs/bomd GitHub Wiki
(M) Voidiant
Health: 60
Attack Damage: 20
Armor: 8
Drops: 1 Voidiant Core
Behaviour: When engaged too much in Melee or inactive they will turtle up being completely immune to damage. If turtled up during combat, the target must step away to get them out of defensive mode.
Attack Pattern: This mob prefers striking from a range and staying at ranged. Either by shooting there laser beam or summoning magic waves upon there target. When engaging close they will do a stomp twice before going into turtle mode. Which then they will activate a different protocol of summoning fire magic around them until the target backs off.
(M) Enderphrites
Health: 95
Attack Damage: 26
Armor: 14
Drops: 2-4 Crystalized Purpur, 1-2 Ender Pearls
Behaviour: Can occasionally teleport away from the player when hitting them, completely ignoring the damage caused. This mob also has a chance to teleport behind the player.
Attack Pattern: A beefed up endermen with a large sword. Encountering either of the armored up beasts is surely a fight worth taking seriously. This one swipes with its sword and casts spells with it as well. Being able to cast projectile attacks or ground attacks on top of being a good melee fighter.
(M) Enderphriton
Health: 95
Attack Damage: 26
Armor: 14
Drops: 2-4 Crystalized Purpur, 1-2 Ender Pearls
Behaviour: Can occasionally teleport away from the player when hitting them, completely ignoring the damage caused. This mob also has a chance to teleport behind the player.
Attack Pattern: A beefed up endermen with two gauntlets on its arms. This mob likes to clap its gauntlets together or slam them creating sonic booms within it's vicinity. Making it difficult to get close too unless your timing is correct. The gauntlets also have the capability of bringing forth magic waves that predict future player positioning.
(Boss) Obsidilith
Health: 350
Attack Damage: 26
Armor: 18
Armor Toughness: 4
Drops: If Voidclysm is disabled -> 1 Obsidian Heart
Behaviour: The boss will play an intro animation upon entering the key into the key block. This boss has similar mechanics to the Void Blossom, however instead of flowers that the player must break at each quarter of health. The player must break obsidian runes, which will require at least an efficiency 3 diamond pickaxe if doing this fight alone. All Boss System rules apply.
Attack Pattern: This boss mainly has a lot of area denial attacks via magic. Similar to attacks the Voidiant does but on a bigger and faster scale. It is best too first read what particles come from the boss and what color the middle glowing part changes too before moving or reacting.
50% Attacks: The boss will unlock a new attack, a teleport smash. Basically it will teleport in the air and do a smash causing an explosion.
(Boss) The Voidclysm
Health: 415
Attack Damage: 27-33
Armor: 12
Armor Toughness: 6
Drops: 2 Obsidian Hearts, 1 Voidclysm Crystal
Behaviour: The boss will play an intro animation after defeating Obsidilith. This boss uses both melee and ranged attacks, some of them being quite devastating. Such as a life steal mechanic the boss has, however this only occurs if the Voidclysm grabs the player. This boss can also occasionally block attacks similar to Knight of Burning Flame but ontop of that when in melee this boss can perform a parry on the player if they are not careful enough. All Boss System rules apply.
Attack Pattern: The Voidclysm will start out basic with 2 ranged attacks and 2 melee attacks. Progressively adding more attacks as the fight goes on and existing attacks getting harder to dodge. Voidclysm will fly around casting various spells (about 4-5 times) before flying in close and doing 2-4 melee attacks. This fight is fast paced and requires some extreme attention to what the Voidclysm is doing. Attacks such as the grab attack where the Voidclysm will forward itself and draw both weapons before swooping in. The player can dodge this attack by strafing to the side, else if it grabs you. 50% of your health is immediately taken away and the Voidclysm will drop you onto the arena. One of the deadlier ranged attacks is where the Voidclysm will aim a laser predicting the players position before teleporting to that destination and causing an explosion.
50% Attacks: The boss will unlock two new attacks, one to summon a black hole when it's in melee mode and the other is to summon tracking projectiles sent to the player.
Tips:
- Best prepare yourself for Voidclysm either during the fight with Obsidilith or before.
- Attacks in both bosses can predict player positioning, so you'll have to get the timing down when to switch directions.
- An Elytra may not be as useful for this fight, but placing some water buckets are a good idea on the edge of the arena just in case.
