I'm still seeing the dialog even after I clicked exit/enter

If your browser does not have cookies enabled, the plugin will not remember you.

I installed your plugin, but it's not working.

Verify your theme has the wp_head and wp_footer tags, without these, the plugin will not function

I set the cookie time to 0, but I don't see the dialog when I change the page.

Cookies are set to session life if a time of 0 is set. Which means you will have that cookie until you close that window. Tabbed browsers are not immune to this. You must close the window to drop any session cookies.

The dialog is not showing up, or is broken

This is usually due to either
A.) improperly setup CSS/theme or
B.) broken javascript elsewhere on the page.
I can only suggest you open an issue and provide a screenshot of your debug console.
