4. Experimentation & Priorities - JaredScottCS/CS230Group10EthicsProject GitHub Wiki
A. Experimentation
To ensure SADK Industries successfully undergoes its development cycle, we have designed a series of experiments relating to our company's strategic vision. Our first OKR focuses on gaining significant user acquisition and engagement of approximately 1 million registered users within the next 3 years. To test this, we’re able to leverage entertainment by developing a gamified process and challenges as the user tracks their health. By using prototyping tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, we can create visual demonstrations and interactive prototypes to gain insight into their design. Once created, we can involve new and existing users, who will provide feedback on the new gamified process and challenges, by releasing this test as an optional feature. Based on their participation, user engagement would be tracked only during the use of this feature.
Our second OKR is focused on developing partnerships and integrating with healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and wearable device manufacturers such as Apple Watch or Fitbit. To test this, we will conduct live experiments with varying healthcare providers and wearable devices to ensure performance, maintainability, and integration. We can create a prototype of the integration by using API mockups and involve limited healthcare providers and device manufacturers willing to participate in the early phases of development. Once a functional prototype has been developed, we can involve a selected number of users, such as premium users, to test the integration of new healthcare providers and device manufacturers under constant pressure before fully releasing it to the general public. By participating, user feedback and experiences will be gathered through surveys or reviews.
Lastly, the third OKR revolves around utilizing user data in personalized health recommendations through AI solutions and launching 6 new premium features for user adoption within 3 years. To test this, we can develop a prototype of the AI recommendation engine using open machine-learning libraries. Both new and existing users are invited to test the AI-driven recommendations, providing feedback on relevance and usefulness. User engagement and action taken, based on the recommendations, will be tracked to provide such feedback and improve recommendations. By implementing these experiments, we will be able to improve our OKRs, ensuring that we are on track to achieve our strategic vision for SADK Industries. Furthermore, these experiments will involve users and provide valuable insights and feedback to guide our company's progress.
B. Priorities
With the experiments outlined, SADK Industries will first prioritize the testing of the most crucial OKRs, starting with developing and integrating with partnerships, gaining significant user acquisition and engagement, and finally, personalized AI health recommendations. This priority order allows us to efficiently build the core functionality and features of the app, ensuring a smooth development process without unnecessary delays and ultimately ensuring our company's success.
