Protan Colour Blindness (Protanopia and Protanomaly)
- Red-green colour blindness
- Red cones do not detect enough red light
- Sensitive to green, yellow, orange
- Red and black may appear similar
Deutan Colour Blindness (Deuteranopia and Deuteranomaly)
- Red-green colour blindness
- Green cones do not detect enough green light
- Sensitive to yellow, orange, red
- Blue and purple, or pink and gray may appear similar
Tritan Color Blindness (Tritanopia and Tritanomaly)
- Blue-yellow colour blindness
- Blue cone is less sensitive.
- Cannot distinguish between blue and yellow
- Blue and green, or red and purple may appear similar
Monochromacy and Achromatopsia
- Partial or complete colour blindness
- Can be the equivilent of grayscale
- Can just be regular colours that appear saturated
