Buffs cover a lot of things in Wildstar. They are used by every class, and even some mobs and bosses! If you want to track what happens to you, or your enemy, then you've come to the right section.
What are buffs?
There are too many buffs in the game to list. Instead ask yourself if you want help tracking benefitial procs and abilities including Innates, temporary buffs & gadgets. Do you want to track stacks on you or your enemy, or do you want to be alerted when good things happen. If you do then continue reading, if not please return to the Guides: Quick Start, CodeCopy & Advanced to select another.
Setting up your Aura
- Type /am
- Add a new Aura (bottom left).
- Click the Buff option in the top left.
- Type the name of the buff into the Filter box at the top. You can also select from the list.
- Decide whether you want to track the buff on you (Player), or your target (Target).
- Decide which action set to use it for.
- Uncheck the Always show aura checkbox.
- Save
- Move or scale it by pressing the Padlock next to your ability. Scale it by using the sliders.
- Save & Reloadui. Save First
- Optional: Change sounds, colour & icon.
- Save. You can always go back and change anything using the Advanced Mode. See the Buffs - Advanced if you want.
Congratulations you now have a generic Buff Aura! It will show when the buff is present.
