Introduction

This project came to be because I thought it would be a quick side-project to knock out while I took a break from one of my other projects. I like LEDs, I like Daft Punk, putting the two together seemed like a great match. This project has grown in scope quite a lot since then.

I've seen lots of other projects where people make full-sized wearable helmets, but not really anyone making something small that could live on a desk. I thought that using the helmet as a bluetooth speaker and displaying FFTs of the audio it was playing would make for something that looked really cool, but also might be something functional I use day to day.
