Open this manager by right-clicking a nation in the main window and choosing Economy and Unrest Manager.
This manager edits Funds, Base resources, and Unrest level, and displays an estimated budget breakdown.
- For each value you want to change, choose Set value, Adjust by amount, or Adjust by percentage.
- Enter the number. Leave an entry blank to keep its current value.
- Check the Projected value, then choose Apply.
- Use Save or Save As from the main window.
For example, Set value with 10000 sets funds to 10,000. Adjust by amount adds or subtracts the entered amount. Adjust by percentage increases or decreases the current value by that percentage.
Reading the budget calculator
The calculator remains an estimate. Its underlying calculations are still under review, and improvements are expected in future releases. It should not be treated as an exact prediction of RTW3's budget.
The panel updates as you type and shows numeric estimates for yearly and monthly income, maintenance, construction, naval aircraft, research, extra training, intelligence, total expenses, and monthly balance. All-active maintenance is a separate reference estimate and is not added to expenses a second time.
The calculator uses built-in reference assumptions when saved costs are unavailable. A zero may be a missing-data fallback rather than a confirmed absence of cost.
The final monthly balance includes a central estimate and a range equal to plus or minus 10% of the absolute estimated balance. An estimated deficit of 1,000 gives a range from -1,100.0 to -900.0. A balance of zero gives 0.0 to 0.0.
This range is a planning allowance, not a measured confidence interval or a guarantee that the game's result will fall within it. It does not add 10% to each expense.
Editable values
Only Funds, Base resources, and Unrest level are editable campaign values in this manager. Invalid input displays an error until corrected.
