Through this entire (mildly frustrating) experience I learned A LOT about troubleshooting, Pfsense, and the process of creating virtual machines.

Now the process of creating the virtual machines was the same as usual. Aside from fixing certain settings, it was smooth sailing especially since everything was already made.

Up until this point I have had limited experience with the PFsense software but I found that (for the most part) it is much more intuitive than I had initially thought. Setting the IP and DNS for the WAN and LAN ports was simple and easy to understand although I did have to play around with it for a little bit before fully grasping how it worked. The main area I struggled with was making sure that the IP and DNS settings were correct on the windows station and connected properly to the firewall.

My troubleshooting skills were really put to the test during this experience because I was consistently being set back by some of the steps
