Lanthir (TO BE RENAMED) - Jaco-Daan/Realms-In-Exile-Wiki GitHub Wiki
Lanthir was one of the lieutenants of Tareg at the Battle of Palisor, the great Avarin war-leader and a courtier of the Avarin King Túvo. Lanthir was one of the advocates alongside Tareg who urged Tuvo to strike against the First Temple. He joined him on the westward march with the Edain. When they reached the Inland Sea, Tareg opted to continue on, but many of the Avari desired to settle in the forest they had found, and Lanthir was the mightiest of those. He became their prince and lord, establishing his capital in the northeast of the Inland Sea. He and his people since remained much aloof, but they did have limited contact with the world beyond their borders, particularly with their distant kin in the Greenwood. His son Aramagor in particular was known to travel often to Greenwood, and was uncommonly worldly and outgoing for one of the Penni. Lanthir turned to artistic pursuits, particularly poetry and music, and his court because known for the strange and marvelous music it contained.
