Shop authoring
The shop supports buying items and selling materials, with visual editors for entries, currencies, quest conditions, and reward pools.
Use the upper-left Back, Cancel, or Done button to return from the shop and its editors or pickers. Shop entry Cancel still discards that entry draft. Navigation has its own header space; titles scroll beside it, while item grids, lists, and editing controls keep their layout.
- Set display items, names, descriptions, pages, prices, and item quantities.
- Charge a configured wallet currency or an ordinary payment item.
- Gate entries behind selected FTB quests and a required number of completed prerequisites.
- Apply per-player purchase limits and timed cooldowns.
- Offer fixed items, weighted random rewards (including empty outcomes), selectable rewards, and administrator-authored command rewards.
- Preserve item data for NBT-bearing entries rather than reducing every stack to its item ID.
- Where the optional integrations and access conditions are satisfied, include supported Sophisticated Backpack or Refined Storage materials in shop operations. The interface shows these sources separately.
New configurations start with empty buy/sell lists. A blank shop therefore normally needs authored entries. Shop editing requires permission level 2; command rewards are maintained by administrators because they execute with server authority.
A practical setup is to define valid currencies first, create a simple fixed-price entry, test a purchase and material sale, and then add quest gates or reward pools.
Version-specific item data: references to NBT on this page describe Forge 1.20.1. NeoForge 1.21.1 uses native data components. See Versions and item data; old item NBT is not converted.
Long names, labels and descriptions scroll inside their own interface area while keeping colors. Item icons keep a separate space; reward and quest pickers appear above the detail panel. Reward-pool instructions and the toolbar occupy separate rows.
