:pushpin: Check if the bot is online first!

I can't invite the bot to my server!

Make sure:

• You are logged in with the correct account
• You confirmed that you are not a robot by doing the CAPTCHA
• You have administrator permissions in the server you are trying to invite the bot to
• You chose the correct server

Keep in mind to click Continue and Authorize. A check mark will appear, as soon as the bot got invited.

I invited the bot, but it doesn't appear in the member list!

If you followed the steps above, and you still can't find the bot in your member list, check the following:

• The bot has the permission to view the current channel
• The bot can view channels at all

Go to Server Settings -> Members -> search the bot -> and give it a role with view channels and manage messages permissions.

"This interaction failed"

There are a lot of reasons this error message may appear..

• Check the command's arguments, see https://github.com/JH220/discord-clearchatbot/wiki/Tutorial:-How-to-use-slash-commands#2-using-commands
• Check the bot's permissions. Especially Manage Messages and Send Messages are being used.

The slash commands don't appear!

What to do

• Re-invite the bot. You don't need to kick the bot though.
• Make sure you have sufficient permissions to use slash commands in the channel.
• Make sure the invite URL/link you used has a &scope=applications.commands at the end.
