Explanation
Investor
Represents someone who wants to invest money.
Each investor has basic information recorded, like their name, phone number, and email.
Investment
Represents a specific act of investing money by an investor.
It records how much money was invested, what percentage of a business the investor gets in return, and the current status of this investment (like pending or completed).
FundRaising
Represents a campaign set up by a business to raise money.
It shows the total amount of money the business wants to raise, the minimum amount an investor can contribute, and how much of the company's ownership is offered to investors in exchange for their funding.
Business
Represents a company that is looking for investment.
It records the company's name, a description of what it does, the category it belongs to, who founded it, when it was founded, its financial worth, how much money it makes, and how many people work there.
Category
Represents a category of business.
Relationship
- An investor can make many different investments.
- Each investment is linked to a specific fundraising campaign.
- Each fundraising campaign is connected to one specific business but can involve multiple different investments from various investors.
- Each business has only one category.
