• opening discussion about makeup and purpose of TAG committee
• discussion about options and pathways for consolidating Docker installation: ISLE-DC and site template
  • different users have different experiences with the methods and different use cases, and corresponding preferences
  • Josh has made a site with ISLE-DC and is working on one using the site template, and is documenting the process to share (thus far he had more issues using ISLE-DC)
  • concern raised about losing information in the ISLE-DC makefile if there were a switch to the site template, also about leaving people in the community who rely on one method behind
  • difficulty in maintaining multiple methods to do the same thing, in maintaining customizations
  • possibility of maintaining aspects of both methods that would consolidate or streamline current options?
    • might be easier to pull aspects of ISLE-DC into site template than the other way around
    • next steps for this to compare what each method does, and consider how they might consolidate
