This meeting is held virtually via Zoom, with an open channel for chatter on Slack. Anyone is welcome to join. The hosting can be claimed by anybody with the host ID. The Host ID is in the header of the TAG slack channel.

There is a descrepancy in what releases are available in drupal.org (2.2.1) versus githib.com (2.2.0)

Version 2.2.1 introduces a bug related to the ajax "spinner."

We have updated the release version on github.

Josh does not have an issue but will look into this bug.

May skip updating "advanced search" in the short term

There are lots of changes in here, and maybe we should split it into mutiple PRs.

Should we default to http and not https? This PR proposes that we avoid having to use things like mkcert on most people's machines. We can leverage docuemtnation and various warning to tell peopel they are still suing http and you are nto ready for being production.

Do we need new docs to match this PR? Yes

Do we need migration docs for those already running isle-site-template? Joe has some ideas for this.

Brian: http vs https is not just about security - it also impacts SEO "Google and other search engines give preference to HTTPS websites, so HTTP websites rank lower". We should push (documentation wise) production sites to use https. See the following that lists pros/cons of using http and https: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/http-vs-https#

  • Tommy had some issues with an ubuntu 20 docker update and it broken traeffik

Joe said that somone 3.6.2

Tommy did eventually went back to 3.5.6 and it worked again.

Joe said he isrunning Traffic 3.6.1 and docker 29.1.1 on Debien without issue.

  • Tommy mentioned that the Composer patches got an update and there are new features. An advanteg of the new version of patches is that it will verify checksums, but it gave him issue with isle-site-template and the bind mounts used.
