Update on posting of Islandora position
Islandora Events
- discussion of ICC Event planning strategy for 2024-25
- planning open meetings for 2024

Meeting planning: joint meeting on Jan 26, and 3 more joint sessions biweekly, then reassess schedule
Islandora position update: Board is working on how best to move forward with strategic planning and hiring
Discussion of Event planning
- Difficulty of event programming without community manager, workload falling to ICC could create burden
- Possible direction for 2024 (could change depending on hiring/other Board decisions)
  - Scale down Open Meeting with less emphasis on trying to get presenters and program fully
  - More lightweight approach to standard Open Meeting programming can free up ICC time to rethink Open Meeting slots to use for online trainings, workshops, even sprints
  - ICC should put out calls at Jan Open Meeting for Camp and Con volunteers
- ICC will focus on using Open Meeting time slot for other kinds of events than traditional Open Meeting programming
- ICC will work to help support community efforts for Camps and a Con in 2025

for January Open Meeting, share call for organizing a Camp in 2024, expressions of interest for IslandoraCon in 2025 (maybe a steering committee first)
try to dedicate February Open Meeting to presentation on Views, March and/or April Open Meeting for Workbench training, potentially a dedicated Workbench Q&A at one Open Meeting
