Value Proposition
The university marketplace app provides a structured, secure, and efficient platform for students to buy, sell, and rent academic materials. Unlike fragmented social media groups, it centralizes transactions, making it easier to find and exchange items while ensuring trust and security through verified student accounts.
Beyond traditional listings, the app supports rentals, student businesses, and bidding, allowing users to request specific items and propose competitive prices. Smart features like photo-based listing uploads and fraud detection enhance usability and security, ensuring users can easily sell products while maintaining a trustworthy marketplace.
The platform promotes sustainability by reducing waste and encouraging the reuse of academic materials. Additionally, it fosters student entrepreneurship by providing visibility for student-run businesses, equipping them with tools to promote and sell their products effectively.

Navigational patterns
We developed the design over a flat navigational pattern. This is due to the fact that there is a single navbar with Home, Discover, Earn and Profile pages. However, glimpses of hierarchical navigations can be found, as the Profile allows the user to navigate to other pages
