Troubleshooting - InclementDab/DayZ-Editor GitHub Wiki

DayZ is crashing with the Editor before/at/loading map.

1. Remove any missions, mods, world, or server settings from the Parameters Tab of the DayZ Launcher.

2. Remove any mods from the Mods Tab that have no assets to use inside of the Editor.

3. Remove halves of total mods until the crash stops happening, then readd mods untill crash. Note what mods cause crashing until you're back up and running. Relay crashing mods to the Editors Discord.

If you cant find the save from the Editor inside your Documents/DayZ/Editor folder.

1. Make sure you're checking the exact correct location.

2. Check the Documents/DayZ Exp/Editor folder, then the appdata/local/DayZ/Editor folder (and the appdata/local/DayZ Exp/Editor (Legacy locations of OLD builds))

3. Windows Ransomware Protection maybe denying DayZ write access to that location. You may need to temporarily turn off the protection to allow
