There are several settings you can change on the fly to control how the Editor handles certain functionalities. Settings are now saved when settings windows are closed!
Log Level: Sets the current logging level of the Editor.
Auto Save: Sets the auto save timer in seconds.
View Distance: Sets the game view distance.
Object View Distance: Sets the game object view distance.
Show Screen Logs: Shows / Hides Log reporting on the bottom left of the screen.
Show Bounding Boxes: Shows / Hides bounding boxes on selected objects.
Camera Speed:
Changes Cameras movement speed.
Show Tooltips: Shows / Hides Tooltips when hovering over object markers.
View Distance: Sets the markers view distance.
Marker Color: Sets the markers color.
Brush File: Path to the EditorBrushes.xml Documents\DayZ\Editor
used by the Brush Tool. (Default set-path $profile:/Editor/EditorBrushes.xml
)
Show Object Markers: Shows / Hides object markers.
Show List Items: Enables adding brushed objects to the placements list.
Selection: Set color when selecting items and markers.
Highlight: Set color when highlighting items and markers.
Loot Spawns File: Path to the MapGroupProto.xml Documents\DayZ\Editor
used during loot spawn Editing (Default set-path $profile:/Editor/MapGroupProto.xml
)
Modal Dialogs: When enabled, your camera and position will be locked while dialogs are open. (Disabling this is much more akin to COM style editing)
Show Bounding Boxes: Shows / Hides bounding boxes on selected objects
Preload Objects: Loads Objects before the Editor is finished loading the map.
Disable World Cache: Disables
High Precision Collision: Experimental feature that makes collision very precise.
Debug Mode: Internal use debug mode
