Firmware: OSD labels and items - ImpulseRC/OSD GitHub Wiki
General
CALLSIGN: You can display your callsign on the OSD.
TIMER: A Timer that supports 3 different modes can be displayed on the OSD. It is activated when the quad is armed.
CRSF PWR: Crossfire users only (using FCs running KISS firmware): Displays the tx power of your CRSF TX.
CRSF LINK: Crossfire users only (using FCs running KISS firmware): Displays SNR and RSSI for each Antenna on your CRSF RX (Diversity RX module will display two RSSI values).
RSSI: RSSI of your Radio can be displayed. Please refer to the RSSI section how to setup RSSI.
THROTTLE: This will display the throttle your radio is currently at from 0% to 100%.
STICK OVERLAY: Displays your stick movements in two squares next to each other. Note: Only available on newer OSD hardware such as Apex OSD and Wolf V3.
TEMPERATURE: This label will display the MCU temperature which is quite a bit higher than the ambient temperature. If you have a Barometer connected it will display the ambient temperature measured by the Barometer and the MCU icon will not be displayed.
Power
VOLTAGE: The overall voltage of your connected Lipo.
CELL VOLT.: ImpulseOSD detects what type of battery has been connected based on the overall voltage and then divides the overall voltage by the type of battery. For e.g. 4S: Cell Voltage = Lipo Voltage / 4. NOTE: This does not measure the voltage of each individual cell!!!
V CAPACITY: ImpulseOSD tries to measure the remaining capacity based on the voltage of your battery. NOTE: This is not as reliable as monitoring mAh and should only be used as a backup to mAh.
AMPS: The current amperage consumed.
MAH: The current mAh consumed.
WATTMETER: Watts is the true measurement for how much power is being generated. Not amps.
Video Transmitter
VTX POWER: The current power the VTX is set at.
VTX CHAN.: The current band/channel the VTX is set at.
GPS
ALTITUDE: Altitude relative to home position (default) or relative to sea level. Note: When using a Barometer it will always display relative altitude.
SPEED: Current speed of your quad. By default it will display the 2D speed measured by the GPS. You can activate the 3D speed option in the GPS options.
EFFICIENCY: Efficiency is calculated as follows: Speed / Amps = Efficiency. The more speed you have with the least amount of amps the higher your Efficiency will be.
HOME ARROW: An arrow pointing to your home (=take off) position along with a distance measurement. The arrow will keep spinning if the home position is not set yet. The GPS needs to find at least 6 satellites for the home position to initialize. Once the home position is found, the spinning arrow will vanish and you will only see the home icon. Once you arm and fly away from yourself about 10 meters it will start displaying an arrow and the distance to your home position.
COMPASS: A compass showing N, S, E, W etc. On newer ImpulseOSD hardware (Wolf V3 and ApexOSD) it will display a graphical compass. You can switch back to the simple compass by turning the compass icon off.
SATELLITES: The amount of satellites the GPS is currently communicating with. It should communicate with at least 6 satellites for a good position lock.
GPS POS.: Your current GPS coordinates.
GPS TIME: The current time received by the GPS.
REPLAY ARROW AKA GOPRO FINDER: Displays an arrow that let's you re-trace your previous flight path using the recorded GPS data. Can also be used to find your lost GoPro.
ESC data
ESC RPM: The rpm of your motor connected to that particular ESC. Assumes a 14 pole motor (standard in mini quad industry).
ESC AMPS: The amps the ESC consumes.
ESC TEMP: Current temperature measured by the ESC.
